Barbering since 1977.
Master trainer having trained apprentices since the mid 80's. He has a huge passion for barbering & is very family oriented both at home & at work with his Aldo's family.
Has visited barbers throughout the world including USA, Europe and Asia as well as other cities in Australia to exchange ideas and techniques.
Knowledgeable on all sports.

Name: Phoebe
Phoebe joined Aldo's after migrating to Australia from Sri Lanka, with a ladies hairdressing trade behind her but with much dedication and enthusiasm to learn has become a very talented barber at Aldo's and celebrated her 10 years in 2018. Is very popular amongst her peers for her wicked sense of humour and radiant smile.

"Joelio"
Name: Joel
A mature aged apprentice, staring with Aldo's in 2018, who brings lots of life skills but more importantly enthusiasm to the job. Very good at picking up new skills and has some serious natural ability. Has a very keen interest in health and fitness and cops plenty of stick about some of his strange lunch concoctions. Finished his apprenticeship in 2020 & is still striving to learn.
"Drewby"
Name: Drew

Drew started at Aldo's in August of 2020 & straight away he showed some natural talent. . He hails from far North Queensland , so has a laconic nature about him, But don't let that fool you, he can be a bit of a sniper with his one liners. Completed his apprenticeship in August 2023 and continues to learn and grow. Has establish a huge loyal following with his superb skills.

"Nicho"
Name: Nathan
Nathan started his apprenticeship at Aldos in July 2021 after 4 years of harassing the Chieef to give him a start. Since he started he has made every post a winner. Like Nicho Hynes from his favorite team the Melboune Storm he is turning into a star, hence his nickname.
And proves once again you can't beat desire & enthusiasm to achieve your goals.
"Gartholomew"
Name: Billy
Billy started his apprenticeship at Aldo's barbershop in 2022 after trying quite a few different jobs & also completing a degree in criminolgy.Fin ally decided to pursue a career in barbering and has not looked back. With an amazing natural ability and a huge desire to learn he has been a huge asset to the Aldo's family. Add to that a great rapport with fellow staff & customers he is killing it.
" Butters"
Name: Grant
Grant started with us at Aldo's in April of 2023. He is a mature age apprentice who has always wanted to try barbering, but wasn't in a position to start. After 12 years as an aluminum window installer he finally took the plunge. Everyone at Aldo's is very happy he did as he adds great enthusiasm to the shop. He has impressed with his natural skills and ability to pick up techniques quickly. A heavy metal fan with a gentle nature and outstanding manners.
